How To Increase Google Adsense Earnings.

seo web analyst blogger community

Looking forward to making money with Google Adsense? That's great...well to break it down for does that are unfamiliar and wondering what is Google Adsense? It's just one of the many mediums you can earn legitimate money online.

But for introductory cases, let's define Google adsense by webopedia: AdSense (Google AdSense) is an advertising placement service by Google. The program is designed for website publishers who want to display targeted text, video or image advertisements on website pages and earn money when site visitors view or click the ads.

Now we have a clear definition of what is Google Adsense, let's dive in a little into the terminologies;

AdSense: AdSense is when you place Google Ads on your website, and when a visitor from your website views or clicks on an ad, Google pays you 68% of what the advertiser pays them. It's free to get Adsense to sign up.

CTR: Your ad Click-Through Rate is the number of ad clicks divided by the number of individual ad impressions. Let's assume you are displaying 3 AdSense ads on every page of your website, 1 page view is equal to 3 ad impressions.

CTR = Clicks / Ad Impressions X 100

Suppose, you get 7 clicks out of 3000 ad impressions, your CTR would be 1% (7/3000X100).

CPC: Cost Per Click is the revenue you earn each time a visitor clicks on your ad. CPC is determined by the advertisers. In some competitive niches like finance, marketing, online products etc. advertisers may be willing to pay more per click than others.

CPM: CPM means “Cost Per 1000 Impressions.”

Advertisers can also opt for CPM ads instead of CPC and set their price for 1000 ad impressions. And they pay each time their ads appear on any website.

How to Earn $100 With Your Google Adsense Account.

The next step to consider is how to make Google Monthly ($100.00 threshold), how much traffic do you actually need in order to earn $100 per day with Google Adsense earnings?

Firstly try to achieve a CTR of 1% and also attain an average CPC of $0.25. Then it’s quite achievable to make $100 dollars a day. Let's assume that a Page View = An Ad Impression. Page view of all the places you have Google Adsense published on.

But in most cases, the click-through rate is between the range of 0.5% to 1.5% and the cost per click depends on the country region your website visitors come from. If most visitors come from third countries such as India, you may get as low as 0.03 - 0.09 cents per click. Most bloggers will target the expensive keywords so they can earn more money. So the answer to this particular question is that it seriously depends on some factors.

Which raises the question; when you start out with making money with Google Adsense is it really possible to make $100 from Google AdSense? If so, then the real question is how much traffic do you really need to make your first $100 with Google AdSense?

  • To make $100 every day you need 40,000 Page Views/day Or, 400 Clicks a day @ 1% CTR and $0.25 CPC. For 40,000 Page Views, you have to produce 500 awesome articles on your website. These pages must attract at least 80 or more page views every day. Another important metric to look at to calculate Adsense income for a website is RPM.

  • What is RPM?

    Page RPM is the average earnings per thousand page views. Learn more Page RPM = (Estimated earnings / Number of page views) * 1000 It’s calculated based on your traffic, CTR (click-through rate), and CPC (cost per click). Irrespective of any niche, the average RPM earning is $1 to $1.5 per 1,000 impressions. You can make $40 to $60 per day from 40,000 page views.

    If you know your RPM, you can accurately estimate earnings potentials for higher traffic numbers, as well as the amount of traffic you’ll need to make a full-time income.

    For instance, if you’re making an average $10 RPM from one of your websites, that’s $10 for every 1000 visitors on your site.

    So you can easily calculate that if you increased your traffic to 100,000 visitors, you would make $1000. If you grew it it 1,000,000 you would make $10,000. Again, not perfectly accurate, but a good estimation.

  • Apart from CPC and your RPM cost rate, the major key factor to your $100 earnings will be the keywords you are targeting since Google is majorly trying to match your audience with the right advert slot from advertisers.

The keyword here will be targeting the right niche and setting up your Google AdSense account right, make sure you have good knowledge about the niche you want to cover.

Every time you make a post, make sure you target keywords that are of medium to low searched, post frequently or regularly. You can also increase your earnings on Google ads placement by increasing your ads per page, please keep in mind According to the Ad Placement policies, a maximum of three standard ad units, three link units,

and two search boxes may be placed on one  webpage.

Also, you must make sure that your website category is advertising friendly because your AdSense income depends a lot upon the category of your website. You can use the Google AdWords Keyword Planner tool to find out the competition in your industry. Your website mobile-friendliness should also not be neglected in this.

Getting referral traffic via social media sites or the use of traffic exchange sites can also be a good initiative for your post RMP, but it is wise to not overspend it in this scenario. If you have proven means to increase Google Adsense earnings please do share them in the comment below.
